Arms: Quarterly: 1st and 4th, counterquartered (1) and (4) argent a fer-de-moline pierced sable (TURNER) (2) and (3) azure, a fesse indented between three martlets or (PAGE); 2nd and 3rd, vert, on a saltire between four pheons argent a pomeis, on a chief engrailed or a lion passant gules (BLAYDES).

Crest: A lion passant guardant argent ducally crowned or holding in the dexter paw a fer-de-moline as in the arms.

SIR EDWARD TURNER, 2nd Baronet, of Ambrosden, MP for Great Bedwin, Wiltshire 1741–47, and for Oxfordshire 1754, and for Penrhyn 1761–66, member of Lincoln's Inn, inherited the fortune of his great-uncle, Edward Turner, and the landed estates of his uncle, John Turner, of Sunbury, Middlesex, born 28 April 1719, educated at Balliol College Oxford (BA 1735, MA 1738, DCL 1744), married 8 September 1739 Cassandra Leigh (died 18 October 1770), daughter of William Leigh, of Adlestrop and Longborough, Gloucestershire (see LEIGH, B), and died 31 October 1766 (buried at St Edburgh’s, Bicester), having had issue (with three other sons and another daughter, who all died as infants),
